Just select the “New Rollup” button in your self-service Caldera dashboard, choose a network and a preferred native token for your rollup, and choose “Eigenlayer” as the data availability solution. Then, you’re all set!
What is EigenDA?
EigenDA is an alternative data availability layer designed for high-throughput applications and secured using the EigenLayer restaking primitive. Built by EigenLabs, it is the first Actively Validated Service (AVS) to launch on EigenLayer, which allows restakers to delegate their stake to node operators in exchange for rewards. Rollups can post data to EigenDA and enjoy shared security that scales horizontally with the number of restakers and operators.
EigenDA's high throughput and low fees enable new on-chain use cases in gaming, social media, video streaming, and beyond.
What is EigenLayer?
EigenLayer is an Ethereum protocol that enables restaking, so that users can secure multiple applications on the network simultaneously. Operators perform validation tasks for Actively Validated Services (AVSs) like EigenDA to contribute to the security of the network.
